Terms of Use
Applicable to all producers and buyers engaging with the FAMA.X system.
1. Acceptance
By submitting a session RSVP, registering farm capacity or otherwise using this platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit information.
2. Nature of the service
FAMA.X is a market intelligence and capacity matching system. We aggregate producer capacity and validated buyer demand and introduce the two. We are not a broker, agent, trader or guarantor of any transaction.
3. Accuracy of information
You warrant that the hectares, water access and infrastructure details you submit are accurate and that you have the legal right to farm the land declared. Misrepresented capacity may be removed from the system.
4. Estimates are indicative
Output tonnages and values shown by the capacity calculator are indicative modelling based on published regional yield ranges. They are not a forecast, valuation, or offer, and must not be relied on for financing decisions.
5. No offtake guarantee
Registration does not create a contract of sale. Any supply agreement is concluded directly between you and the buyer, on terms you negotiate, including specifications, pricing, logistics and input responsibility.
6. Personal information
Personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and POPIA. An RSVP allows us to contact you about the producer session; capacity registrants may be contacted about relevant buyer matches.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FAMA.X is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the platform, including crop failure, price movement or buyer default.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
